The International Music Awards 2006 is presented by the Music Aid Organization in association with the United Nations UNV program, IMA Productions, Broadjam.com and other leading international music industry partners. 

The Music Aid Organization will present winners with music industry Gold Disc Awards and they will feature on a special Awards CD that will be on the desks of the world's top music executives. Music Aid has many friends in the music industry - these executives support Music Aid and its work and they are looking for tomorrows big stars. Winning songs will also be featured and sold as downloads on the Music Aid International website and there will be publishing opportunities and more for the best entries. 

A Truly International Event
Listings of the best artists, runners up and finalists from each country will be made public. This is a genuine chance to become a finalist or win the Best in Category in your own country - for example: 

Best Band - USA, 
Best Male Solo Artist - UK, 
Best Music Video - Germany
Best Songwriter - Australia       etc etc

You also have the chance to be voted the Best in the World in your category and become an "International Music Awards 2006" winner! The international media spotlight will be turned on when our United Nations UNV specialist promotions team promotes winners and finalists in an international campaign of worldwide press releases and media announcements. 

With bands, singers and songwriters, producers, musicians and composers from all over the world taking part, with voting from every participating country, and with a specialist worldwide United Nations UNV promotions team, this is certainly the largest international music awards event ever held. 

Equal Opportunities for all
No one knows if they are voting for a signed act or an unknown hopeful. Everyone has an equal chance of winning and an equal chance to represent their own country internationally. 

HOW TO ENTER
Simply click on Enter to upload your tracks. You may enter as many times, and in as many categories, as you wish. Each entry will be judged separately and will have an equal chance. After you enter you can track your progress "live" online. The fee is $30 per entry.

VOTING: Everyone who enters is invited to take part in the voting - this is your chance to be an awards judge, listen to entries from all over the world, rate the performances and songs, and contact artists with feedback or collaboration ideas. Your votes will determine the final nominees and winners of the International Music Awards 2006.
