When should I enter?
The earlier your work is in the awards contest system the more exposure you will receive. Music Aid staff, producers and partners are constantly monitoring the awards participants looking for interesting and promising solo artists and performers, bands, songwriters, producers etc, and the longer you are in the system the more chance you have to be noticed.

How are the winners selected?
The Music Aid "International Music Awards" are unique because you, the musicians and artists, choose the winners. Unknown artists and signed acts compete on equal terms and all voting is anonymous. You will decide who wins. This is a genuine opportunity for unknown songwriters, bands, solo artists, composers and producers to receive international recognition. Voting dates will be announced soon and everyone who has entered will be invited to take part.

Can I enter three different songs in the same category? Or enter the same song in more than one category?
Yes. You can enter as many times and in as many categories as you wish. For example a band could enter two or more different tracks in the Best Band category and also enter one or both of these in the Best Songwriter and/or Best Production categories. The choice is yours. A songwriter could enter the same song in Best Songwriter and also in Best Production. A solo artist could enter in Best Songwriter and also in Best Solo Artist etc etc. Each entry is charged a separate entry fee and will be judged completely separately and have the same chances of success in the national and international results.

What happens to the entry fees?
Music Aid is a non profit organization and proceeds from the International Music Awards are used to fund Music Aid's Save Our Planet campaign and also generally fund the organization and its work and ensure its continued existence. By entering the Music Aid Awards you play an important role in supporting this work world wide and you are an essential part of the Save Our Planet and Music Aid Movements.
