The Music
Aid Organization has been fortunate to work with
some of the biggest names around. We have listed
below just some of our partners over the years.
There have been many more. Many of the partners
listed below are also closely involved in the
Music Aid 2009 event.
MUSIC AID 2009 - NETWORK PARTNERS
The world's major social networking sites, blog
sites and video sites will be involved in Music
Aid 2009. These sites include YouTube, Facebook,
MySpace, MySpace TV, Bebo, Daily Motion, Current
TV, Yahoo Video, AOL, Google Video and many
others. Supporters and participants in Music Aid
2009 will be able to insert interactive
multi-media applications into their own personal
pages on these websites during the event so that
the event will run "live" on these pages. There
will also be Music Aid 2009 dedicated areas on
these sites coordinated through the central hub
at Music Aid TV (musicaid.tv). This viral aspect
of the event means that Music Aid 2009 will be
running simultaneously on thousands of different
web locations around the world thus potentially
reaching millions.
THE EARTH LAB
FOUNDATION
The Earth Lab Foundation is one of our newest
partners and is an official Music Aid Climate
Crisis partner for Music Aid 2009. Earth Lab has
offered to provide a special co-branded Carbon
Footprint Calculator for the event that will
enable music lovers and Music Aid supporters to
take their first steps towards developing their
own personal green strategy. Earth Lab is very
experienced in high profile media and
entertainment partnerships and has previously
worked with Al Gore and Live Earth, with the
Emmy's and on the DiCaprio film The 11th Hour.

UNITED NATIONS
The Music Aid Organization worked with United
Nations UNV volunteers program for four years
between 2002 and 2006. During this time Music
Aid worked on a variety of projects that were
mainly related to children in need, poverty,
media and music services. The Music Aid
Organization provided volunteer management and
coordinated the services of hundreds of UNV
Online Volunteers recruiting and guiding these
volunteers through online based projects with
the United Nations UNV and NetAid schemes.
BBC
We have worked with the BBC on a number of
projects including the high profile "Instrument
Amnesty" where unwanted musical instruments were
collected, redistributed and given new homes in
a large nationwide campaign in the UK. We look
forward to working with the BBC again in the
future.
THE
INTERNATIONAL SONG COPYRIGHT AGENCY
The Internation Song Copyright Agency (ISCA)
provides specialist legal and copyright services
to a number of music industry bodies inclusing
the Music Aid Organization. It is offering free
copyright registration prizes to entrants in
Music Aid 2009 and is donating part of all
copyright service fees to Music Aid projects
during the year.

WORLD MUSIC
FOUNDATION
The World Music Foundation is a non profit
organization that was established as a Trust
Body in 1998 and operated for many years as a
government registered charity before becoming an
independent NGO in 2006. It has provided aid to
children in need through its WMF Child Aid
program and has run various educational progams
including the highly succesful Diploma in Music.
It has partnered with Music Aid on many events
and projects and is a supporter of Music Aid
2009.
UK SONGWRITING
CONTEST
Music Aid was involved in launching this very successful and
highly prestigious international event in 2002.
It has become one of the leading international
songwriting contests in the world and a
favourite annual songwriting event for thousands
of songwriters and composers. The UK Songwriting
Contest supports Music Aid 2009 and is providing
production and administrative support and
expertise for the event.
