UNICEF AND CHILDREN IN NEED
Music Aid supports all musicians, brands and benefit events that raise funds for and promote UNICEF. We have directly provided schooling, school shoes, study materials, uniforms and aid to children and families in our SE Asia Child Aid programs, we were official project manager for hundreds of United Nations Volunteers with the UNV and Net Aid, we distributed free musical instruments with "The Instrument Amnesty" in partnership with The BBC and Youth Music, we provided free music lessons and free teaching resources to underprivileged communities and schools worldwide, and we worked as UNV manager with the United Nations NetAid World School House program providing education for over 85,000 children in developing countries. Partnerships have included retail partnerships with iTunes and Amazon, other commercial music websites, and with music contests and services. Our music contests and award events have supported good causes and charities worldwide with over $2,000,000 in sponsorships, prizes and support awarded to artists and students to help them with their music careers.
