SONG CONTEST AND INTERNATIONAL MUSIC AWARDS
Music Aid 2024 is the 5th International Song Contest and Music Awards event from MA Intenational. It is a global music competition, and showcase supporting musicians, singers, songwriters, bands, music students, schools, charities and good causes. It is an opportunity to win trophies, career boosting awards and cash payments for your songs. You will also represent your country in the national charts.
HOW IT WORKS
Tracks are showcased, shared and promoted online and the most popular tracks, together with artists and songwriters selected by MA producers, receive prizes and awards and share cash rewards from the event prize fund. Final winners are chosen by international public vote and a large panel of thousands of music professionals.
ORIGINAL SONGS AND COVERS
Most people will submit original songs but there is also a special cover songs section with awards for best covers. There are Awards and cash payments for Songwriters, Female Solo Artists, Male Solo Artists, Instrumentalists and Composers, Singer/Songwriters, Bands, Music Videos and more.
CHARTS
Charts are updated in real time based on streams, views, shares and Likes. You will see live trends and the exact position of your songs in the event in real time. Use the charts to see the most popular artists and songs and see how your entry compares to others in the event. See global charts for all trending and popular entries worldwide and also narrow this down to Charts by song category, country etc.
VOTING
Winners are chosen by a) public vote and b) music Industry vote involving over 10,000 music industry professionals, songwriters and musicians. The voting system is the same large international voting system used by the The Commonwealth Song Contest.
CASH REWARDS
Part of every song entry fee goes into the Prize Fund (with a maximum cap of $250,000). This fund is shared among the top entrants. All entrants also benefit from being part of a global music showcase involving thousands of music insurty professionals..
CHARITY
Proceeds from MA2024 support charitable work and Music Aid Foundation causes and projects. In this 25th Anniversary Year the organization returns to the same poor village children and families in SE Asia that were supported with the funds raised at the Music Aid launch event 25 years ago. We return to the same villages and again provide school shoes, uniforms, books and other aid to hundreds of families and will post photos and stories from the villagers. During the past 25 years the Music Aid Foundation has provided aid and support to charities and good causes and has worked with some of the world's biggest organizations including The United Nations UNV program and UNICEF The United Nations International Childrens Emergency Fund.
